4850 Master Clock
The Wharton 4850 synchronised master clock provides a precise GPS system time synchronisation solution for computer network, CCTV, security, voice recording, industrial process control and CCC applications in addition to it's use in digital clock systems to control 400A series digital clocks, calendar clocks and time zone clocks displaying time or time and date in up to 15 different global time zones.
The 4850 master clock may be synchronized from GPS, MSF or DCF radio time signals and is designed for simple installation and 'setup and forget' operation.

4860 Master Clock
The Wharton 4860, 4860net and 4860netclient series of systems GPS synchronized master clock provides a complete precision timing solution for all types of commercial systems, from NTP network time synchronisation, the control and time synchronization of a single piece of intelligent equipment, the synchronization of other large networks and systems incorporating a wide variety of communications, recording, surveillance, information and many types of mechanical and electronic digital and analogue secondary slave clocks.
Each master clock is preprogrammed with a wide range of user selectable time message formats for the time synchronization of many different types and makes of CCTV, voice recording, security and other digital equipment via RS232 and RS485 serial links.
The range is designed for simple installation and 'setup and forget' operation.

ETC Series Impulse Master Clocks - with programmable control for heating, lighting and signaling bells
The ETC series of impulse master clocks are designed to control conventional impulse slave clocks using alternate polarity 24v DC impulses with a one second, half minute or one minute repetition rate or intelligent slave clocks using high reliability MOBALine® time code -ETC 14 (R) and ETC 24 (R) only.
The ETC master clock also provides 2 or 4 user programmable switching circuits allowing flexible control of heating, lighting, signaling bells and other relay controlled circuits on a weekly or other periodic date related basis.
The ETC range is available with cases suitable for wall or DIN rail mounting or as the R version with a case suitable for freestanding applications or 19" equipment rack mounting.
The user interface allows easy and intuitive entry of programming commands either by the front panel keyboard or from a PC using the optional 'Switch Editor' software and a serial data link.

488BGPS Time Synchronisation
The Wharton 488BGPS GPS time synchronisation system is designed to provide an extremely accurate, yet simple to install and maintenance free, time reference for the 4850 system master clock and 4860 NTP master clock. The 488BGPS package comprises an active antenna mounted on a stainless steel post mounting bracket, a receiver/decoder module housed in a rugged, IP65 rated, wall mounting aluminium enclosure, a 5m coax cable between the active antenna and the receiver/decoder module and a 25m, four core cable between the receiver/decoder module and the master clock.

484 MSF & DCF radio time code receivers
The Wharton 484 series of radio time synchronisation receivers enable the time synchronisation of 400A series clocks, calendar clocks, time zone clocks and master clocks to accurate DCF and MSF radio time code signals.MSF transmits on 60kHz from Rugby with signals traceable to an atomic clock at the National Physical Laboratory. DCF transmits on 77.5kHz from Mainflingen, near Frankfurt/Main in Germany with signals derived from the Physikalish-Technische Bundesanstalt, Lab. Zeitenheit.
In theory the signals are receivable at a range in excess of 1000km from the transmitter, subject to the effect of a wide range of variables such as time of day, atmospheric conditions and the degree of screening between the transmitter and receiver. In practice increasing levels of noise pollution, particularly from mobile radio systems, result in a reduction of reception reliability and we now recommend GPS time synchronisation for time and reliability critical applications.

The Wharton international time clock range can be specified for wall, flush or ceiling mounting. A 100v-240v 50-60Hz supply voltage enables world wide use. Wharton international time zones display unit are supplied pre-set to order specifications for time zone identification and for the correct automatic seasonal time changes. They are designed for simple installation and can be used stand-alone units or synchronised from various signal sources including GPS, DCF or MSF time signals, remote Mobaline® or w482 master clocks or via an optional Ethernet connection

Wharton Frequency Control Clock Systems
The Wharton frequency control clocks are designed to provide an integrated display of time and frequency information for power generation control rooms and management facilities. The units provide an accurate mains frequency meter, the standard time derived from the internal or external time reference, the frequency time derived from the 50 or 60Hz supply frequency and the time difference between the standard time and the frequency time. The units have three sets of independently programmable voltage-free relay contacts that may be programmed to close at preset precision time intervals, on detection of error conditions or at preset frequency or time difference limit conditions.

Wharton Digital Calendar Clock and Day-Date Clock Systems
Wharton 45x and 46x series calendar clock, digital calendar and day date clocks are manufactured and tested to provide totally reliable service over many years in command and control facilities, conference and reception areas, offices, public places and other areas were a precise and clear display of time and date is required.
Display Time and date and information is displayed using high quality, colour and brightness matched red, yellow, green or blue LED characters. The calendar clock has the ability to show the day-of-week and month in a single language or using two or three alternating languages from a selection of 22. The display brightness can be manually pre-set or controlled automatically.
