Carrier of Carriers Networks

Complete Carrier of Carrier Services over a Single Platform. Many CoCs Deploy Multi Service Provisioning Platforms (MSPPs') in their Network for their flexible capabilities

Carrier of Carriers (CoC) / Wholesale operators lease services over their transmission infrastructure to a variety of service providers, such as Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Interexchange Carriers (IXCs), and cellular operators. Since each type of operator needs different services, the CoC must support a variety of leasing options:

  • Cellular operators typically lease TDM/SDH/SONET and Ethernet links for traffic backhauling and MSC connectivity.
  • ISPs mainly lease Ethernet and SDH/SONET links to connect between routers.
  • IXCs typically lease SDH/SONET, Ethernet, and wavelength links to connect between their central offices.

Our MSPP products allow CoC operators to support all of these service types in a single platform. The MSPP product line supports all leasing options starting from E1 all the way up to SDH/SONET, Ethernet connectivity and wavelength services. and can also provide transparent SDH/SONET connectivity – including the timing clock and the overhead bytes – by mapping the signal to OTN. Each service is handled in its native environment, minimizing jitters and delays.

Managed by a single network management system, makes it simple to operate and manage all network layers and protocols. New services can be defined by simple point-and-click, enabling the service provider to respond quickly to new and unexpected traffic demands while limiting operating and maintenance costs. This enables CoCs to offer CNM services to their customers. This includes virtual topology views and service provisioning that responds in real-time to network needs.
